SungDuk College located in Yongcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, S.Korea, Known as the city of sixth largest city in Gyeongsangbuk-do province, SungDuk is the only college in Yongcheon city. We would like to warmly welcome all students who intend to further their academic studies towards a bright and promising future. Students in SungDuk College have the opportunity to develop their potential and skills as a basis for lifelong learning in their in their chosen careers. We also have accomplished to lift the total quality of education through energetic activities of the humanities.
The College was founded in 1997 and has kept growing through its all-out efforts of continuous improvement and educational reforms ever since.

As of 2005, the College has 8 departments and 2 divisions currently with more than 2,180 students and 100 faculties.SungDuk College emphasizes character development as one of the College foundation motto. SungDuk College encourages the students to have international sense and pledges allegiance to the country based on moral education, wisdom, benevolence, valor, modesty through all round Education.
The College provides cyber lecture system and cutting-edge multimedia educational system using the network to let all students get not only self-learning chance but also remote-education based on cyber space. We intensify field practice study for immediate adjustment to industrial complex, so operates the curriculum focused heavily on experiment and practice relate with industries. In addition, the program for high-quality technical education and academic ability improvement is actively running now. Our College was designated for several years as the Technology Support College for small & mid-sized firms by the small and Medium Business Administration and excellent junior college award for specialization rograms, structural adjustment, the base college for local industry, customized program and vocational high school linked educational program supported by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development, and so on. Now we are constructing the center for Business Incubator for venture initiation under the Small & Medium Business Administration. Thanks to our talented and devoted faculty members and administration crew, we will be able to continue our commitments of producing more competent and more talented graduates who will lead the 21st century.

The academic year consists of three semesters, each comprising 15 weeks of instruction. The first semester starts in the first week of March, the second semester starts in the last week of August, and the Seasonal semester starts Jul. 1 or Dec. 15 optional during each Vacation. In general, all students are required to maintain a full-time student status.
